Bank Staff wanted - job advert

We are looking for caring and enthusiastic people to support the team and provide extra cover in sessions when needed for our Committee-run Preschool, working with children aged 2 to 4 years in our successful OFSTED registered setting. The position is initially a bank staff position.


Applicants must have:

  • Preferably a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Pre-School Practice, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or at a minimum a CACHE Level 2 Diploma in Pre-School Practice, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Ideally have experience in a similar role.
  • Be caring, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children aged 2 to 4 years.
  • Be motivated to hit the ground running, reliable and add value to our fun and hard working team.
  • Be confident in areas of EYFS and implement accordingly.
  • Should be team-players who are also able to work on their own initiative.
  • The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and be willing to undertake training as necessary.


Possible hours: 0 – approx. 28 hours a week, either 9am – 12pm, 9am – 1pm, or 9am – 3pm session, ideally you would be available Monday – Friday during term time. Session hours are 9am – 2:45pm Monday – Thursday and 9am – 1pm on Friday. Additional time up to approx. 30 minutes before and after sessions may be required for setting up and packing away


Salary: £8.81 - £9.01 an hour depending on qualifications and experience.
